Nordine Hillard lived in Etna, Scott Valley Northern California for over 30 years. She has two surviving sisters, nieces and nephews in the Bay Area. Nordine was always very involved in the community, serving where ever needed. She attended the United Methodist Church faithfully and served as the Treasure. She was a member of the Women's Club, and was an inspiration as she served many many years for the Girl Scout Cookie organization. Nordine also worked at the Yreka Library for many years, always inspiring the youth to explore life through books.

Nordine's passions included watching Jeopardy, reading and yellow tulips.
